The 2012 Flower Season was one of the best we have ever had

Our 2012 Namaqualand flower tours were very successful with an unbelievable flower display. We have never experienced flowers like this before and all the guests were very happy and hopefully tell their friends to join us on the 2013 flower tours. We could not accommodate everyone in 2012– all our tours were fully booked. We have therefore opened our bookings early for 2013.

Two 5 day Namaqualand Flower Tours

We tour all the way up to Garies and Springbok/ Skilpad/ Nababeeb/ Guchab Nature Reserve. In the Niewoudtville area, we visit the flower farms Meitjiesfontein and/or Biekoes as well as the Knersvlakte.   We visit the very popular Biedouw Valley and experience a wonderful Rooibos Tea tour.  Sleep 2 nights on the farm Melkboomsdrift and 2 nights Springbok.

Two 3 Day Flower Tours

We enjoy the flowers of the West Coast and the Niewoudtville area – this tour includes the quiver tree forest, the flower farms Biekoes and/or Matjiesfontein/ the very popular Biedwou Valley/ Rooibos Tea tour. Sleep 2 nights on the farm Melkboomsdrift

• Our groups for the Namaqualand flower tours are small groups – maximum 10 people.   Our transport for the Namaqualand flower tours: a 17 seater bus – that means we have lots of space and window seats to really enjoy your flower tour.
• Our accommodation:  the best we could find in the Namaqualand!   We are very proud of the accommodation we offer:  the farm Melkboomsdrift and the
  Blue Diamond Lodge in Springbok
• Your guide:  Gudrun Groenewald will be your guide. Gudrun is not a botanist, but with a tap on my shoulder, I can say:  I do know the area and I do know a lot about the flowers!!
• We reserve the right to change our route according to the weather/road conditions and most important: the flower display.   We go where the flowers are the best!
